Attention/Notes for Sample Delivery from Clients to SV
Dear Esteemed Clents of SV,
If you are going to send us samples /cargos for us to produce, for purpose of minimizing the risk and cost, please kindly check and follow following brief instructions:
1, No Used Samples, Please make it looks like new if it is used.
For most products categories, used products are not allowed to be imported to China. (Customs checking is more strict if by air and sea, customs checking is less strict if by courier door to door service like DHL, Fedex, UPS etc or normal post).
If the samples are used, then please clean it to make it looks like new (at least 75% new), If they are used steel samples, then it must not have any rust shown in the sample, maybe you could make it looks new by some granding, polishing or painting.
2, Please Lower the Invoice Value (approximatedly euro2.00 per kg).
This will directly related to how much import tax we shall pay during import.
In the invoice, please issue lower value (around 2.00 euro per kg), for example, if the cargo is of 15kgs, then the invoice value is around Euro30.00 (SAY THIRTY EURO ONLY), Please don’t miss the number in CAP letters.
Please also kindly note in the invoice “SAMPLE PURPOSE ONLY NO COMMERCIAL VALUES”
3, Package, please better not use wooden material in sample or its package if possible.
Wooden material, if there is any, need to be fumigated.
Wooden pallets free of fumigation (made of composite panel) is ok.
But better donot use wooden material if possible. Or the process here in China would be complicated and cost longer time.
4, We would be much appreciated if you could send us tracking number or B/L soonest after delivery. So, we can track them or prepare the import documentation in advance if neccessary.
For special cargos, like Liquid, oil, battery, magnetic products etc, please contact and discuss with us in advance for further information.
